Brittany Residency 2006

Silvy is one of five Scotland-based photographers to undertake 2x2 week photography residences in the region of Brittany in North West France.

The 5 selected candidates will reside in 2 coastal resorts-towns and environments of particular historical,cultural or archiological interest in Brittany.

After the residencies an exhibition will be formed that will tour Brittany and Scotland and will also be shown in Paris in 2007.This will be a selling exhibition tour organised by the Brittany Tourist Board with the aim of promoting Brittany and providing revenue for the photographers.

Residencies are to take place between April and September.

The selected photographers are Alan Cairns,Malcolm Macgregor,Anne Darling,Morven Gregor and Silvy Weatherall
