Feathers

As the wife of a Game dealer and food producer, I have often been faced with a surfeit of feathers. It seemed such a shame to waste them so I decided to make decorative pieces with them. I started when my youngest child was a year old, itching to get creative again, I worked at the kitchen table making greetings cards. The mess was unbearable, and soon demand dictated that I should move out to my Studio not far from the house. This is what I have come up with. See what my husband does with them on my links page!

I have been known to shoot the bird, pluck the bird, cook the bird, eat the bird and then make the feathers into something decorative.
