About Silvy Weatherall

Silvy Weatherall (nee Johnston) is married and has 4 children. Between 1995 and 2005 she concentrated on rearing her young family. During that time they lived in Hong Kong for three years followed by two years in Sydney, Australia. They moved back to Dumfries in South West Scotland in 1998. Her husband Ben, is a farmer, game dealer and food producer.

Silvy has exhibited in a number of group exhibitions and had solo shows in the Philippines and Hong Kong. Silvy is currently working on a series of large commissions. She cooks and sings rather a lot as well! She has a CD coming out before Christmas 2008 ,singing jazz favourites with the Pianist Derek Paravicini, raising funds and awareness for The AMBER Trust.
